We went on a Halloween expedition with one of Sasha's best friends, Matthew. (they love each other!) They rode ponies, got their face painted, decorated pumpkins, and did lots of other fun stuff:

The blue princess and the ninja!

Matthew and his dad, Arnie, and mom, Mary Carmen:

Hanging out outside:

Glenda came for a visit (She needed to renew her passport and stayed with us). She came with her beautiful, 10 month-old son, Gabriel:

Telling stories using her blocks and her silks: the blue is a lake, the green is the grass, and the yellow is one of the character's houses:

Sasha made this peacock, all by herself, out of these really neat sticks made of wax (can't remember the name)

We talk to Sasha about being kind and generous, and then she asks us why we don't help people on the corner of the street asking for money. So we decided to prepare little bags of snacks (because we don't think giving money is helpful). We keep the bags in the car and hand one to Sasha to give to them. Here she is preparing the bags!

Another neighbor over to play: Camilla

Children's class at our house!

This community has been very supportive of our children's class initiative. Several people come to the classes, prepare art projects, or take care of little ones to help out:

Trick-or-Treat!

  1. Wow, what a beautiful Blue Princess! Does she have a name. Could Sasha make up a story about her and send it to me?

Fantastic peacock. Those waxed sticks are awesome.

It makes me so happy to see Sasha with so many new friends.
