one month and a half

Oliver is 6 weeks old and growing quickly! He had a checkup today where we learned that he weighs 12 pounds already!
He's sleeping well, eating well, and getting lots of kisses from his sister, as the pictures below will show you:
















Sasha has become a great little helper. She always brings me water while I'm nursing Oliver, helps us change his diapers, and even helps us with the groceries!



She was also thrilled to be able to hold him all by herself!

Oliver and Visitors

Oliver is one month old!
James parents, Patti and Pat, came for a visit and we had so much fun with them! My mom came and stayed with us for over a month! She just left us today and I really, really miss her. She did so much for us, I really couldn't have done it without her. She played with Sasha the entire time, and did all the things that I never would have had the time to do. Things like keeping the house tidy, doing laundry, watering the plants, etc. But the thing that I'm most grateful for is the quality time she spent with Sasha when I couldn't, making this transition a much smoother one for her. She also got her breakfast ready and let me sleep in everyday!
