Our classroom:
Virtue tree:
(idea taken from here)
Children of the world:
Sasha spends hours playing with these dolls, cutting them out, coloring their clothes and gluing them on. The paper dolls can be found here
But what truly makes this classroom beautiful are the children!
They made masks as a reminder to have a "sin-covering eye" and only look at the good in people:
Painting the quote they memorized: (great way to help them memorize, by the way!)
Cooking up something:
Oliver's birth mark: (this one called a Mongolian Spot)
Love his cheeks:
Virtues class craft: weaving using branches and yarn:
Sasha is a great older sister. She's so good with Oliver and is so helpful in giving him the things he needs. She even started feeding him and does a fantastic job with it:
... although sometimes it can get a bit messy!
They love hanging out together:
We went to the children's museum and spent hours in just one section of it! There are all kinds of neat materials to build and create with. So much fun! Here James is working on a rocket (which he later launched in a special room), and Sasha is working on the beginnings of a maze:
Oliver had fun watching from his favorite place:
We also went ice skating with our neighbors. Sasha with Camila and their walkers:
Sasha has been very interested in writing. So she decided she wanted to write a letter to one of her friends. Can you tell what it says?
Sasha and her walnut stash:
Oliver is not quite ready for blocks. What he does love is to empty out containers:
and chew on them instead:
Isn't he gorgeous?
Sasha wanted a ride in the sling!

Great posts! The children's class looks like so much fun.....so creative. I hope you're saving the lessons and making comments somewhere about the process and dynamics. I stared at that picture of Oliver sleeping for the longest time. What an angel!
