small update

We've finally moved into our new home! We're almost completely unpacked, just a few more details. We've all been working really hard to get it all done... I really want the house to be ready before Oliver comes...I'm probably nesting! Due date is in just 3 weeks!

Below are some random pictures from several weeks ago until today. Some are of us packing our things. Sasha helped sometimes, but mostly she found creative ways to use the boxes. Who needs toys when you have packing materials?
Other pictures are of some outings Sasha and I went on while James was away (he traveled out of State for some work/training), some birthday parties, Baha'i class, children's museum, and other events.

As I mentioned before, Sasha loves the Magic Tree House series and is even reading them by herself now. Today James and I listened as she read paragraph after paragraph, asking for help from us every now and then. I highly recommend these books to parents of children between the ages of 4 and 10. The children in the story travel in their Magic Tree House to different time periods and places around the world to complete special missions. The stories are exciting for adults as well so it's fun to read them to children. They also come on audio CDs and have been translated into many languages.

She uses her CD player to listen to her stories as well as mixed music CDs which we make for her often. She has such a diverse selection of favorite songs, and she doesn't have to wait for mom or dad to play them, she just pops in her CD!
